JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have a doctorate or be currently enrolled in a doctoral program in a regionally accredited institution in nursing education and/or administration; detailed knowledge of graduate student concerns from a faculty perspective; university level experience with curriculum and assessment; teaching expertise within area of specialization; excellent interpersonal communication skills oral, written and computer; excellent analytical skills; excellent advising skills; excellent record keeping skills; excellent teaching/academic skills; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: part-time teaching of classes in a cohort and working with seminars and project students; working with advising and assessment relating to graduate students; curriculum development and review; providing resources and advising.
