Platinum Creative – The award winning, in-house design agency for Full Sail University, is seeking an experienced, highly conceptual and animation-driven Art Director to assist in leading our online advertising division.
Our work focuses on film, music, video games, and other entertainment media for the highly sought-after 18-24 demographic. We offer a casual and creative work environment along with a competitive salary and full benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and remaining current on target audience trends, habits and lifestyle
- Implementing brand standards across all forms of online advertising
- Working closely with the Marketing Department to achieve strategic goals
- Researching and reporting on sites targeted for ad placement
- Collaborating with copywriters to generate original and compelling ad concepts
- Constantly pushing the limitations of current technology to enhance user experience through rich media, unique animation approaches and innovative delivery methods
- Leading ideation and brainstorm sessions
- Presenting comps to Creative Director in various stages of completion: sketches, storyboards, animatics, etc.
- Creatively assisting and inspiring junior design staff
- Commissioning contract resources such as photographers, artists and filmmakers
Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of professional experience with 1-2 years as an Art Director
- Strong layout and typography skills with extreme attention to detail
- Solid understanding of the online advertising space
- Ability to concept and design across a broad range of styles
- Pro knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with motion graphics and Flash are a huge plus
An online portfolio, demonstrating previous advertising experience, must be submitted for consideration.
