JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
Florida Literacy Coalition seeks individual to coordinate statewide health literacy initiative integrating health education into ESOL instruction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1) Coordinating health literacy mini-grants program. 2) Managing the grant application, review, distribution and reporting process. 3) Coordinating teacher workshops and health literacy Conference track. 4) Identifying and sharing health literacy research and resources with grant recipients and other adult educators. 5) Coordinating the development of supplemental educational materials. 6) Serving as a liaison to promote program and help develop partnerships.
Candidates should have good organizational, administrative and communications skills. Experience in grants management, training and health care or health education/communications preferred.
Compensation range: $15.50-$16.50 hr.
