JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
SUMMARY: Provide assistance and support to Event Supervisors and Stage Mangers for special events, including coordination of event documentation, event operations, and event staff and talent. Position includes day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
JOB DUTIES: •Assist Supervisor/Stage Manager in event documentation, staff requests, legal requests, revisions, confirmations, and creation of entertainment itineraries, per supervisory instructions •Coordinate communication of pertinent event information with other departments, including but not limited to Marketing, Publicity, Park Management, technicians, vendors, and outside companies •Assist management with the maintenance of Entertainment Production Standard Operating Procedures, processing guidelines and event documentation Event Operations •Communication and coordination of event specifics to Universal Orlando Entertainment Staff, including: talent/park technician involvement, duty assignment and schedule for venue Coordinator, identification and coordination of logistical elements and script requirements (i.e., securing props, costumes, transportation, etc.), and post-event labor reconciliation and reporting •Communication of event issues/status with Event Supervisor and/or client •Monitor and report on UO performance and aesthetic quality standards •Attend to employee safety needs as required •Periodic responsibility for unsupervised small events (RBC, photo shoot, LCM’s) including trouble shooting and problem solving •Coordinate Entertainment employees throughout local or regional off-property events (i.e., character appearances, etc.) •Coordinate communication with internal/external clients during local or regional off-property events •Coordinate travel logistics for off-property events •Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in related field preferred. One to three years experience within the professional Entertainment or theme park industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
NOTE: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts; and outdoor weather conditions.
