JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
SUMMARY Working with all levels of management and staff to develop, coordinate and maintain the enterprise configuration management database.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following: Develop, coordinate and maintain the enterprise configuration management database to ensure relationships are accurate and documentation is up to date. Identify, manage, and verify the versions of all configuration items. Perform basic backup functions for the enterprise monitoring systems. Develop and maintain processes, procedures and standards for the configuration management database. Work with all levels of personnel to analyze, evaluate, enhance and report on information system data. Assist technical teams in managing documentation and standards. Communicate with all levels of management and staff concerning information related to the configuration management database. Work with project teams and business unit management on projects and initiatives regarding new configuration items and the CMDB.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Work well with a team, as an individual, and across teams. Understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university IT experience which adheres to a methodology such as ITIL is a plus Experience in information security systems, MySQL and SQL, LAN/WAN, Database structures, Telephony, Systems Management, MS Excel, MS Access, .CSV files are a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS ITIL foundations a plus
