JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
Art / Production Director for magazine publishing company. This position will design, oversee the artistic design of all products, manage team of artist and production staff.
Products include: Advertisements, editorial layouts, website design, digital products and promotional items.
Specific qualities/duties include:
Proven management experience required
Strong analytical skills
Critical Thinking
Proven leader & team builder
Creative graphic design background
Portfolio that demonstrates successful creative campaigns as both a leader and team member
Effective communicator
Technical aptitude with both hardware and software
Prior magazine publishing environment a plus
Supervision and understand of production process
Able to work under constant pressure and meet deadlines external and internal deadlines.
Apply pressure on artists in order to meet deadlines
Work on multi projects at the same time
Ability to switch gears with flexibility and openness
Organizing, Planning and prioritizing work
Qualifications:
Proven management experience
Graduate of college or art school with degree in graphic design or related field.
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and In design
MS Office and Excel
Supervisory experience required
Demonstrated management and communication skills.
