Description

The Director, Patient Care Services - MP Rehab has full administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for functions and activities of designated patient care areas in accordance with the accrediting and or regulating agencies. Has authority and is required to exercise independent judgment on a regular and ongoing basis, including hiring, firing, recommending wage increases, settling grievances, coaching and mentoring of team members, and managing work environments as required for effective service outcomes. The Director acts as a professional role model for other team members demonstrating organizational values. The DPS is responsible for the facility-based risk management program with the assistance from the Risk Manager providing: proactive risk assessment in conjunction with BayCare Risk Management program, policies, and procedures.
