Description

The Chaplain is a full clinical member of the health care team, providing services for the pastoral/spiritual needs and education of patients, families, team members. The chaplain is knowledgeable in the areas of theology, spirituality, and pastoral care. The chaplain is competent to perform pastoral care functions as needed to support the spiritual and emotional health and well being of those served. 2 years of Chaplaincy or Pastoral experience with 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education is also acceptable. An Ecclesiastical Endorsement is Required. 800 hours Clinical Pastoral Education is Required.

***This position will provide direct patient care as needed to each of the four Morton Plant Mease Hospitals. In addition, this Chaplain will serve as a Member of the On call Team.***
