Description

Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants; Rehabilitation Technicians; Fitness Specialists; Massage Therapists; Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree Occupational Therapy

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s degree Occupational Therapy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year Occupational Therapy

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: BLS

PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: Lymphad, Mass Hand, and/or NDT

REQUIRED LICENSE: Occupational Therapy or License eligible

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Computer skill appropriate to position, Customer service skills, Organizational skills, Written and verbal communication skills, Work independently with minimal supervision, Teamwork
