Description

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Pool Non Registered is responsible for the performance of all neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with technical standards set forth by the American Society of Neurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET), the American Electroencephalography Society (AEEGS), or the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I is required to maintain and improve his/her level of clinical and technical knowledge across all disciplines of the diagnostic neuroscience's. This position cannot take on call by themselves until 6 months of employment has been met unless the Coordinator/Manager of Neurodiagnostics signs off on competency requirements set forth by the department.
