As a Wireless Planet Outside Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for strategically identifying, prospecting and growing mid-market business accounts. This is a quota based position and you will call on prospective wireless customers and identify new business opportunities. Wireless Planet is a Sprint Authorized Business Representative.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities 

 

  • Sale of wireless handsets and current promotional plans, as well as wireless Internet services, customer support, and paperwork compliance 
  • Prospecting, needs analysis, presentation, negotiating, and closing of new business. ? Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas. 
  • Educate customer-base on products and services 
  • Utilization of SalesForce.com CRM
  • Perform account maintenance and management activities including the investigation and resolution of billing and service issues 
  • Provide responsive customer care and attention to ensure customer satisfaction/retention and low churn.
  • Identify opportunities for add-on sales and additional wireless data products
  • Develop sales forecasts, prepare reports, and perform other administrative duties as requested. 
  • Attend sales training meetings and classes to stay current of strategy, products, pricing, and rate plan structures.
  • Effectively build and manage a sales funnel

 

 

 

Key Competencies

 

  • Experience cold calling/prospecting new clients
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product proposals and quotes
  • Experience selling to and managing within market
  • Experience in tracking customer sales information, forecasts & reports using related software applications
  • Presentation, organization and communications skills with the ability to pay strict attention to details

 

Base Salary + Commission, plus car allowance and an excellent commission structure. We are looking for self motivated, self- starters who strive for excellence. We offer Medical Benefits & IRA. There is no cap on the amount of commissions to be made.
