Health Central Hospital, a part of Orlando Health, is seeking an experienced Hospital Accountant to join our team.  Health Central Hospital, a 171-bed acute care hospital, is located in West Orlando.  

For this position, superior accounting skills are a must.  Position is responsible for month-end closing entries, expense accruals, and detailed fixed asset maintenance.  Five to seven years ledger responsibilities from entries to preparing and proofing financial statements, reconciliation of fixed asset and accumulated depreciation accounts in addition to other balance sheet accounts as assigned.  Excellent analytical skills and variance analysis are required.  Experience with data import/export preferred.  Proven ability to automate processes is a plus.

Qualifications include:

*   Bachelor's degree in Accounting

*   Minimum 3-5 years of related accounting experience

*   Experienced in an ERP environment

*   Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, general ledger systems, fixed asset subsystems and data importation/exportation
