REGIONAL MARKETING TRAINER


SUMMARY:

To perform and implement daily training at local and regional level. To assist the resort DOS's Regional Director of Training, Regional Director of Sales and Senior VP of Sales, in the standardization of training new hire agents, as well as, Sales Managers. To provide resource in mentoring and to successfully facilitate the "train the trainer" critical path to success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work closely with National Director of Training, Regional Project Directors, Site Project Directors and VP of Organizational Development in order to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for all local, regional, and national training.
  • Must be able to carry out specific duties according to the established SOP's, which includes daily training sessions, according to the sites' needs. To monitor and provide updates on new hire lists and status of training classes, and its success.
  • Develop and monitor a Training Library. Work on individual and/or group training and must support complete DRI presentation. Ensures that all technology devices are used properly and are supplied for most effective training.
  • Must be an effective communicator, with excellent oral and written skills to be able to improve current sales processes through mentoring of site's sale managers and agents.
  • Work closely with new hire agents to facilitate a formal 5-day training, 2-Day Follow up, 1 or 2 day Product Knowledge and recognize areas of emphasis to include, but not limited to, sales collateral material, monitor sales agent pitch books, and working with QAO to keep them compliant.
  • Indirectly responsible for the coordination of potential interviews and new hire paperwork with sales agent training checklist.
  • Must be state licensed and be able to assist as a T.O., when needed.
  • Perform specific projects to assist National Director of Training, Regional Project Directors, VP and Senior VP of Sales, and Project Directors in respective regions.
  • Executes a consistent communication strategy for weekly, monthly management meetings to include statistics, financial, VPG, etc.
  • Assess performance trends of sales representatives and communicates with sales representative team manager.
  • Identify trends and suggest solutions to PD.
  • Identify key workflow processes and provide feedback for higher level of time management during down-time.
  • Embrace change dynamics aligning with strategic direction of Diamond Resorts.
  • Collaborates with senior management to achieve business results.
  • Provide sources of continuing improvement through workshops and public speaking seminars.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • High School diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university strongly preferred.
  • 2-4 years platform training experience preferably in the Timeshare or Vacation Ownership industry REQUIRED.
  • Multi-Site training experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in Timeshare or Vacation Ownership sales REQUIRED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office REQUIRED.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management in a professional manner.
  • Must be Results driven and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Creative and able to think outside the box.
  • State Real Estate or Timeshare License and may be required to obtain Real Estate or Timeshare License for states that have sales centers.
  • Must be able to travel 60+% of the time. Weekend travel may be necessary.
