SUMMARY:
The Telesales Manager has direct responsibility for Telesales Agents performance.  The Manager will manage daily sales objectives.  In addition, the Manager will train and develop agents to exceed their sales goals.  The Manager is responsible for inbound/outbound telephone calls from various marketing partners, customers and owners with the intention of selling vacation ownership.  The Manager is expected to provide outstanding customer service in alignment with our quality assurance standards.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead sales team to meet or exceed monthly and annual company sales goals.
  • Consistently work with agents to improve their sales skills, sales production numbers and knowledge of Diamond Resorts International® products and services.
  • Take Over calls from agents when appropriate to secure sales for agent, team, department and company.
  • Build and maintain rapport and good working relationships with support staff, agents, peers and internal partners.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting department to attract top Telesales talent.
  • Work with document capture and contract staffs to ensure the team’s deals come back by the end of the month.
  • Ensure that all agent and customer questions are answered in a professional, informative, diplomatic and correct manner.
  • Follow up to ensure sales paperwork is returned within a specific period of time.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and team collaboration efforts.
  • Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.
  • Consistently practice the Meaning of Yes® and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
  • Operate general office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
  • Two (2) years Sales Management experience with inbound & outbound telesales, specifically with vacation ownership programs.
  • Must have an active FLORIDA REAL ESTATE LICENSE.
  • Ability to lead & mentor a team.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office program (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Excellent and effective leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead agents in a positive and progressive manner while being results oriented.
  • Highly self-motivated, with an inner competitiveness.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Experience with campaign management systems.
  • Must be able to understand, interpret and create spread sheets and budgets.
  • Must be proficient in reading and understanding annual budgets and statistical reporting.
  • Detail oriented, accurate and great time management skills are required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service (i.e. must be able to communicate in a positive and effective manner when dealing with upset owners)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, Must be able to lift 25 pounds
