Accounts Payable Data Analyst

Job Description
Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely reporting according to requested parameters as needed. This will include reporting from all systems used by AP including SAP, Concur, American Express AtWork as well as department access databases.
• Transform data using MS office tools and other techniques.  Create controls to ensure data is accurate. Present data in clear concise formats and provide analysis of results including effectively communicating to stakeholders.
• Accounts Payable SAP processes – execute check cycles, Flat File Uploads
• Support existing supplemental Access databases including developing new/modify existing tables, queries and reports.
• Complete monthly Metric reporting including continued review of existing metrics to determine their effectiveness at measuring performance.
• Participate in reporting and automation projects and perform testing of new solutions.  Train staff members to these new solutions.

Job Requirements
Qualifications/Experience/Skills

• Three years’ experience in SAP accounts payable environment and/or AS in Accounting or Information Systems.
• Proficient knowledge of   SAP and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Access. 
• Excellent organizational, presentation and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Functional understanding of financial and operational business processes and reporting.
