The Health Central Pharmacy department is currently seeking pool and full time Pharmacists, various shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. The qualified applicants must possess the following qualifications: Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) required and hospital experience preferred. Must be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Monitor physician prescription orders to ensure patient safety and enhance patient outcomes of patients of all ages, infant through late adult Compound and dispense prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceutical needed for patient care, according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements. Supervise Pharmacy Technicians; communicate drug information and clinical data to other health care professionals. Maintain all necessary records in compliance with all state and Federal laws.
