The Reporting and Business Analyst will support global Firm functions and shared services. The role has a dual scope, responsible for matters related to financial reporting and analysis, and end-to-end budget planning of the departments. This individual will work closely with colleagues in finance/accounting, HR, and will interact with department leadership and other stakeholders to meet the financial reporting, budgeting, and compensation/industry benchmarking needs. Detailed Description
- Manage end-to-end financial planning processes that entail strong understanding of the business and service needs, and translating these needs and goals into solid planning numbers. Ensure monthly compliance of the actuals against the budget and provide detailed explanation on any deviations. Support department and functional leadership by providing insight, analysis on financial results and key metrics such as utilization for review. Respond to management inquiries on financial policies, tools and ad-hoc reporting Improve utility, delivery and efficiency of data extraction techniques and search for new ways to gleaning key information from data repositories and reporting tools Develop analytical models and approaches to problem solving to better analyze operations of internal functions and departments and provide them insights to improve the financial metrics
