Overview
The benefits administrator provides support for the delivery of the Firm’s global benefits programs through a focus on administration, communication, and general support of the benefits function.  The role will work closely with various Benefits team members located in New York and Tampa.

Detailed Description
In addition to general support, as needed, in the administration of the Firm’s benefit programs, this role will focus on the communication and tracking of benefit plan participation for all colleagues who transfer from one office to another office.  Mobility administration will be a significant responsibility:   

  • Apply benefits policies to individual transfer situations and communicate benefits implications of transfer to each member on mobility
  • Participate in conference calls with transfers as necessary and coordinate all communications with Tax and Mobility colleagues
  • Ensure that all transfers are properly tracked on Firm systems, update benefits tracking records as appropriate, and contact offices to ensure required personnel system updates are processed
  • Monitor to ensure enrollments are properly handled (e.g., late enroll for LTD)
  • Manage, update, and continually improve the communication templates used in creating the benefits related mobility communications (e.g., to address changes in programs, or to simply improve wording)
  • Handle ongoing audit of records, systems and benefit enrollments
  • Monitor those eligible for year-end cash payments in lieu of pension, and work with offices to ensure the proper amounts are paid

  • Previous exposure to benefits programs and HR systems preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related professional experience
