ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide 24/7 troubleshooting and support for mission critical PeopleSoft Apps
- Configure and maintain PeopleSoft production, stage, test and development environments and instances
- Perform periodic PeopleSoft application environment refreshes
- Lead and implement system upgrades of Peoplesoft Application and Tools
- Maintain PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning
- Use change/release management process
- Document and communicate project activities to the manager on a regular basis
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Peoplesoft Financials and HCM administration procedures and tools
- PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) and client-server application deployments of PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM
- Windows Server (within last 2 releases) Administration fundamentals & tools
- Linux (RHEL within last 2 releases preferred) Administration fundamentals & tools
- Networking principles (DNS, TCP/IP, etc..)
- PIA, Tuxedo, Weblogic, Jolt
- Oracle Technical Support and Escalation process
- Change Assistant, configuration and installation methodologies, and best practices
- Database structures and database access methodologies
- Integration Broker, Interactive Hub, Secure Enterprise Search
- SQL coding and performance tuning
- Understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Work well with a team or as an individual; a self starter
- Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field and in the ministry
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Work cooperatively with others using tact, patience, and courtesy
- Work confidentially with discretion and independently with little direction
- Meet time schedules, deadlines, and plan and organize work
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 4 year undergraduate degree required or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in setup and maintenance of PeopleSoft applications as PS administrator.
- Experience and working knowledge with PeopleSoft Applications (9.x+) & Tools (8.5.x+)
- Experience with multiple upgrades of Peoplesoft Applications and Tools
