Electronic Assembler

Manpower is currently looking to staff an Electronic Assembler for one of the largest Industrial Distributors in North America. 

With nearly 200 branches and major regional distribution centers and over 35 years in the business, we provide a wide range of products and systems related to bearings, mechanical and electrical power transmission, automation & control, material handling, and fluid power for the MRO and OEM markets.

Job Description THIS IS A TEMP POSITION FOR 3 MONTHS.

• Perform repetitive hand and machine soldering and assembly operations on printed circuit boards, connectors and terminals.
• Accomplish  touch-up on printed circuit boards after flow solder Remove, replace, and rework defective/incorrect components on subassemblies and assemblies.
• Visually check subassemblies and assemblies for completeness/correctness of previous operations and for foreign object debris (FOD)
• Verify inventory of received parts against work orders.

  Candidate Profile

Inform Supervisor when components, subassemblies, and/or assemblies are out of specifications MUST BE cleared as Employee Possessor by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms as required by the Safe Explosives Act.

  Candidate Skills

• Must be able to follow written instructions and manufacturing process instructions including basic circuit diagrams and charts
• Must be able to use hand and bench tools and bench mounted aids to assemble components
• Must be able to use simple magnification aids to check for foreign object debris (FOD) Fully able to accurately keep processing and curing times and annotate part and serial numbers
• Able to keep work station and area clean
