Cath Lab Special Procedures Manager (FT/Days) $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

The Special Procedures Manager will ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care for this discipline. This position requires the Special Procedures Manager to be knowledgeable and proficient in the treatment of interventional and diagnostic cardiology and radiology for inpatients and outpatients under the direction of the Department Director and Medical Director.  This position requires intimate knowledge of both departmental and hospital policies and procedures relating to the field of Cardiology and Radiology. The Special Procedures Manager will be required to assume relief responsibilities in the absence of the Department Director.
                          
Knowledge and Skills Required or Preferred                    
Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  Demonstrate the ability to deal with stressful interpersonal and clinical situations in a professional and courteous manner. Demonstrates the ability to staff the lab accordingly to accomplish service and productivity levels in accordance with superior patient care and Florida Hospital productivity standards. Demonstrate outstanding clinical and technical skills within the scope of duties defined by the respective license. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, complications, processes, and products.  
                          
Education and Experience Required or Preferred                    
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology, Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Technology, or Registered Nurse program. Must have a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a comprehensive cardiac catheterization or Special Procedures setting.  Prefer two years management experience.

 
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required or Preferred          
BLS and ACLS certifications required. Current FL license for discipline.
