Building Manager, Altamonte Springs and Heathrow Campuses

Seminole State College of Florida is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, qualified and experienced Building Manager.   The Building Manager plans and manages the facilities operations of the Heathrow and Altamonte Campus locations. Supervises the Custodial staff and coordinates the activities of the trade staff of the College in consultation with the Associate Director, Facilities Trades Manager and the Utility and Energy Manager. Work is generally governed by broad instructions and objectives involving frequently changing conditions and problems.

REQUIRED QUALFICIATIONS:

 1. High School diploma (or equivalent).

 2. Five (5) years of skilled work experience in one or more trade specialties.

 3. Experience with energy management systems.

 4. Three years management/supervisory experience in facilities plant management.

 5. Valid Florida driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 1. Associate’s degree.

 2. Eight (8) years of skilled work experience in one or more trade specialties.
