We are currently searching for a Director, HUMAN RESOURCES to become an important part of the senior team at our world headquarters in Orlando, Florida.  This is an opportunity for a strategically tactical seasoned HR professional to come in and partner with senior leadership and field HR representatives to drive human capital initiatives.  The company has approximately 1000 employees in the U.S.   The HR Director works out of the corporate headquarters in Orlando and is the lead HR person supporting 250 to 300 employees spread over 13 sites (including corporate).  This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer of the company.

This is a true director level HR generalist opportunity.  In addition to handling employee relations, worker's compensation and payroll/benefits, the successful candidate will come in, get his/her arms around existing processes and address other areas in partnership with senior leaders including (but not limited to):

  • Affordable Care Act
  • Training & Development
  • Employee Engagement/Recognition programs/incentives
  • Succession Planning/Building bench strength

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded human resource leader with proven strategic capabilities and enjoys being hands-on.
  • Must have a 4-year degree in HR or related discipline
  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality or Entertainment industries required
  • International employment law experience
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with Ultipro extremely preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with payroll and benefits administration
  • Demonstrated ability to research, recommend and implement efficient HR processes
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
  • 35% Domestic and International travel
  • Proven ability to partner with Operations and multi-location management
  • Knowledge and experience in administration of defined benefit pension and 401K plans
  • General understanding of accounting basics with regards to salaries and benefits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
