Clinical Analyst II - CAMM

The Clinical Analyst II-Cerner CareAware Multi-Media (CAMM) will consult with users and management to define the clinical requirements of the CAMM Digital Pictures system and resolve related problems.  Activities include analysis, design, testing, training, implementation, maintenance and support of CAMM Digital Pictures system across Headquarters and the 22 SHC hospitals, with the analysis and design portion generally directed and guided by the PACS / RadNet Manager.  Primary responsibilities include developing, maintaining and testing application software using Cerner tools; developing training materials as well as training hospital analysts; and implementing applications into the hospitals.  Travel is estimated at 40% - 60%.

The qualified candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Application build, testing and implementation experience with Cerner CareAware Multi-Media (CAMM) experience required
• Experience providing end-user training, including developing training materials, analysis workflow documentation, required
• 3 or more years of relevant clinical experience in direct or indirect care a plus
• Experience with SQL and relational database management systems a plus

Minimum Education Required/Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, with degree or formal training in area of specific application assignment a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Ability to blend user requirements and interests into satisfactory and acceptable programs required
• Proficient written and oral communications skills required
• Knowledge of Meaningful Use regulations related to clinical system applications and hospital services preferred
