Summary:

YourMembership.com is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to work within the development team, ensuring that we deliver well tested software that meets the business requirements of our organization and its customers. The two most important skills an ideal candidate would possess are problem solving ability and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate must also work well within a team environment and will partner directly with Software Engineers. Your contributions will provide the development team with the critical information necessary to correct functional and logical defects in the software you help to deliver.

What You´ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
  • Record and document results and compare to expected results
  • Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected
  • Generate historical analysis of test results
  • Document anomalies and issues
  • Maintain database of software defects
  • Provide application instructions for users
  • Ensure compliance accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources
  • Participate in product planning meetings

Qualifications:

  • Relevant bachelor´s degree with 1 - 2 years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance field or 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented environment
  • Proven propensity to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience with CRM software systems, web content management systems, membership management systems or other association software tools
  • Technical skill set should include working knowledge of MS Word, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Excel, HTML, XML and browser technologies

Physical Demands:

Must be able to utilize standard office equipment, i.e.) desktop computer, monitor, keyboard, and telephone system.
