JOB DESCRIPTION:
edgefactory is seeking a creative, experienced, Associate Producer for its Orlando office; who will report to the Director of Creative Development.  The AP works closely with Director of Creative Development on project development, production and the timely delivery for assigned shows and media content.  The AP will be the central point of contact and provide creative solutions based on client need.  The AP will work with the Director of Creative Development on budget, talent coordination, casting, physical production planning, and hiring external vendors. The AP will also oversee the post production process to its completion.

The Associate Producer will also be responsible for assisting the team in analyzing and developing cost-effective strategies based on client need.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Envision, plan, and execute creative and profitable productions in a timely manner
•    Exhibit courage and finesse by influencing positive results with team members
•    Solve problems proactively to meet goals and deadlines and keep within production budgets
•    Gain consensus and present recommendations to senior leadership
•    Engage and collaborate with clients and partners to understand issues and formulate innovative solutions
•    Execute presence with exceptional ability to influence and drive decisions
•    Facilitate an inclusive culture that exhibits integrity, collaboration, empowerment and trust

QUALIFICATIONS: 
•Minimum of 4 years of video production experience with a variety of budget sizes (small to large budgets)
•Expert knowledge and operation of PC computers
•Savvy visual storyteller with professional creative techniques and tactics
• Demonstrated knowledge of production equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio, and the ability to communicate accurately and efficiently with production crew using production terminology
• Ability to actively problem-solve, make snap judgments, and handle the full responsibility of a high-profile production, while facing tight deadlines and multiple unexpected challenges
• Thorough understanding of the “business” (off-set) side of production, budget creation, legal contracts
• Able to take direction well in stressful environments
• Experience in the post-production process
•Prior experience working in a video production house with knowledge on how all entities work in concert to meet goals
•Video production experience for Digital Platforms

EDUCATION:
•Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Film, Communications, Business, Production, Liberal Arts or equivalent combination work experience

COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time position.  Salary is based on experience.

TIME COMMITMENT:
This is a salaried position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.  Some travel may be required. Office hours are 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
