Brief Posting Description     
         
The Lead Dispatcher provides support to Marketing as it relates to dispatch, payroll, reporting and any other administrative function within the department. 

        
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform dispatch duties (i.e., data entry, handling phone calls, etc.). 
  • Audit daily and future tours in Atlas. 
  • Provide management with departmental production reports. 
  • Develop and maintain a continuous training program for dispatch personnel. 
  • Develop and update all standard operating procedures for the Marketing department. 
  • Maintain a good working relationship with timeshare departments and resort management company staff. 
  • Attend one management class and/or webinar a month. 
  • Perform resource management, including but not limited to training and motivating staff. 
  • Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company Driven to Excellence standards. 
  • Consistently practice and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, 
  • management, owners, members and prospects. 
  • Operate office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine). 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Six (6) months previous data entry, customer service or back-office clerical experience. 
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry. 
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.

SKILLS
Required:

  • Ability to type 40 WPM. 
  • Ability to work closing shift (3-11) 
  • Ability to work Weekends 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills. 
  • Initiative and adaptability. 
  • Detail oriented.
