The OPC Team Lead provides secondary management coverage of Off Property Contact (OPC) staff under the primary OPC Manager, and provides the department with management coverage on the OPC Manager’s shifts & days off. The Team Lead is required to maintain a minimum personal tour production of 40 tours per month and budgeted VPG (for department).
        
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote Diamond Resorts International® at various locations & consumer events and invite qualified guests to preview our vacation opportunities at a DRI Sales Center. 
  • Offer the guest a gift in exchange for their time viewing our products and services. 
  • Assist in recruiting and building an OPC team. 
  • Attend meetings & workshops to develop and enhance skill sets required to produce efficient and profitable business. 
  • Exhibit qualities of pride in performance that can be imitated by fellow team members in their pitch, appearance and results. 
  • Motivate team to produce and provide tips for improvement where applicable. 
  • Ensure all shifts are staffed with scheduled agents. 
  • Ensure all locations are properly stocked with adequate supplies. 
  • Hold team members accountable for being on-time and at location when designated. 
  • Report all incidents and performance issues to the OPC Manager. 
  • May discipline team members when required. 
  • Ensure invitations are completed in a proper and legible manner. 
  • Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company Driven to Excellence standards. 
  • Consistently practice and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects. 
  • Operate office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine). 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

  • Six (6) months of previous experience in an Off Property Contact (OPC) or similar capacity. 
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team. 
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of marketing system software, area activities and pricing. 
  • Professional, energetic and outgoing personality. 
  • Competitive, goal-oriented and persuasive. 
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and contribute as a team player.
