The Inventory Control Clerk will Report to the Operations Manager
Special requirements include experience in a “turnaround” situation with restructuring experiences. Primary responsibilities include achieving financial and operational goals which include:
- Implementing safe working practices and insuring that safety procedures are followed and all required safety training is completed.
- Meet or exceed annual Yield targets with regards to inventory control.
- Meet or exceed Annual Efficiency Percentage for accuracy for inventory control.
- Meet or exceed Attainment of Production schedule for raw materials needed.
- Meet or exceed Annual inventories for accuracy.
- Perform period cycle counts on all items in inventory.
- Meet or exceed Contribution Margin %/Equivalent Case target.
- Meet or exceed the ability to quickly respond to manufacturing needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS THAT SUPPORT OPERATIONAL GOALS
- Strategically focus the plant to meet company profit goals in areas of inventory management.
- Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by Syncoms.
- Meet customer expectations in quality and quantity with regards to inventory control.
- Develop long term strategic plans for plant growth, with regards to inventory control management.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year college or university and ten or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Read, analyze, and interpret common financial, operational and legal documents.
- Effectively presentation skills in sharing information with top management, public groups, and/or board of directors as needed.
- Must understand and utilize the plant budget and develop within the plant a solid understanding of our business cycle and goals.

- Ability to function within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic and commitment. Responsible for personal interaction with employees at all levels throughout the plant. Prepares and supports those employees affected b y the culture change. Monitors transition and evaluates results.
- Balances group and individual responsibilities. Exhibits objectivity and openness to others. Contributes to building a positive employee relations environment. Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
- Provide effective planning, organizing and prioritizing project skills.
