We have offices in London, Orlando and Bangalore and serve over 21 countries, and we need a Mobile Software Developer to help us bring more photo sharing and personalized gifts to our growing customer base. 

BINDERY OPERATORS ROLE

• An opportunity for an Experienced Print Finishers/Bindery Operators to join our busy and ever growing online digital and lithographic printing company. At the center of our lively and fast-paced production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all prints are finished to the highest standards prior to dispatch.
• The role requires previous experience in guillotining, folding, laminating experience, book binding and stitching. You must be a highly self-motivated individual who takes a flexible approach to managing workloads and demands and ensures detailed attention is paid to all work. Enthusiasm and a high level of focus are essential. The work will be fast paced and we require the successful candidate to rise to this challenge. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guillotining B2 and digital printed material
• Using Horizon saddle stitching equipment to create booklets of various sizes and quantities
• Using Renz Punching and Wiro-binding equipment to create manuals
• Using various laminators to produce all sizes of printed material
• Using horizon machines to fold and crease work
• Using gluing and binding equipment to create hardback and softback book
• Hand finishing small jobs and packaging ready for dispatch
• Taking responsibility to minimize any potential delays in the process
• Ensuring all jobs undertaken pass the quality inspection
• Updating our in-house IT systems with job updates
• Maintaining the equipment on a scheduled weekly routine to ensure optimum performance
• Performing general maintenance on a daily and weekly basis
• To strive to continuously improve process efficiency, eliminating unnecessary costs from the business
• Reducing production time costs and general wastage per order
• To ensure appropriate hand-overs are provided between shifts and departments

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Must demonstrate flexibility in being able to operate different equipment and undertake
• Long shift patterns and responsibility as per business needs
• Fold Stitch and trimming experience on a Muller Martini or Horizon equipment
• Laminating experience on any sort of B2 or larger laminator
• Guillotine experience – Polar or other equipment experience
• Folding experience – MBO, Stahl or other Horizon equipment experience
• PUR or Holt Melt gluing experience on Horizon or other equipment
• Wiro-binding experience on Renz or other semi-automated equipment
• Willingness to learn new processes and methods of working
• Energetic & Enthusiastic approach
• A recent and stable work history is required
• Applicants must be able to work effectively as part of a large team and also use their own initiative
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Printing knowledge and experience would be a bonus
• Die Cutting experience would also be a bonus
• We seek only personnel capable of producing exceptional quality products for our clientele.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
IT literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel an advantage
