Reservation Sales Agent

Position Summary: 

The Reservation Sales Agent’s primary goal and responsibility is to secure as many reservations as possible by utilizing selling techniques effectively. The ideal candidate would be up beat, self-motivated and detail-oriented. 

Role and Responsibility: 

• Assist guests by selling future reservations 
• Answer telephone calls and emails in a clear and professional manner 
• Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations 
• Provide concierge services with general knowledge of the area including theme parks and attractions 
• Strong ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail 
• Display effective computer literacy and be familiar with MS Office software (Word, Excel) 
• Possess a positive attitude at all times 
• Professional customer service nature 
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
• Flexibility in work schedule with working weekends, evenings, and holidays (as required) is mandatory

Skills and Requirements:

• Serious Candidates only who have a minimum of two years related experience and/or training in reservation or hospitality industry. Candidates with a strong sales background but no hospitality field experience will be considered.  Due to the nature of the business, Spanish and Portuguese would be a desirable quality.
• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and possess excellent telephone etiquette. Ability to answer client’s questions and successfully resolve issues and/or negotiate matters related to client’s account.
• The candidate must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to inquires from managers and/or staff.
• He or She must maintain clear and concise documentation and positive approach to conflict resolution. 
• Knowledge of MS Windows, Office (Word, Excel, etc) and the ability to navigate the internet is a must. Ability to type quickly and correctly using an Online Chat Feature is important. 
• Candidate must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
