This position has primary responsibility for providing complete setup and pack down of multiple customer booths on the show floor. In the Tradeshow Technican role, the Tradeshow Technician  will be able to run numerous crews made up of combinations of Skyline personnel and union labor crews.

The Tradeshow Technician  will maintain a solid working relationship with the I&D crews, Service Center personnel, clients and the Skyline Dealer network to provide on time, show-ready results. This position will work with all personnel to maximize their ability and to ensure accurate set and timely teardown of exhibits that we have been hired to install at show site. The Tradeshow Technician  will work with the I&D Manager and provide back-up to the I&D Manager for day to day operating and schedule decisions, as needed or more of the following.

  • Bring functional expertise/leadership, sound judgment and knowledge in helping to lead the activities at the show floor to efficiently and effectively maintain high customer service and profitability.
  • Set-up and dismantle product at trade show events per job jacket.
  • Strive for customer satisfaction on the show floor by completing the job to the customer’s expectations.
  • Meet with clients or attend conferences for the purpose of pre-show and post show coordination
  • Strive and direct all Technicians to fulfill all Skyline certification criteria.
  • Responsible for the coordination of labor for fulfillment
  • Responsible to coordinate the return shipping back to the requested destination.
  • Select the appropriate alternative shipment requirement when needed.
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork for post show comments and additional costs that need to be invoiced.
  • Assist in the timely submission of paperwork and union timesheets for payroll purposes.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to ensure timely delivery to the customer.
  • Provide regular feedback to the I&D Manager regarding the team’s performance and Skyline’s goal/objectives regarding current and ongoing service expectations.
  • Be available for training of Skyline Product to others to ensure that proper and safe work practices are consistently followed.
  • Work daily with Service Center personnel to schedule and share pertinent information to ensure the success of the installs and dismantles of projects.
