The Outside Sales Rep will be responsible for generating revenue in an assigned territory by proactively engaging potential customers face-to-face at the customer/prospect’s location.
Outside Sales Rep must be proactive, productive, and engage in positive interactions, effectively meeting the needs of the customer while reinforcing trust and taking into consideration the customer’s time and availability.
- Will sell various BreakOut Sales products and services door-to-door to prospective customers in a targeted geographic selling area, and be able to meet/exceed performance goals in order to build the customer base of business.
- Will create customer loyalty by serving as a brand spokesperson while demonstrating a variety of selling techniques resulting in sales of our products and services.
- Will identify our customer’s needs by asking clarifying questions to effectively promote our products and services, and articulate the features and benefits in a competitive environment through successful negotiations.
- Must be willing to adjust and adapt to all aspects of the business in an ever-changing work environment, while understanding goals, how they are measured, how to reach them, and work with others as necessary to achieve these goals.
- Have the ability to demonstrate dependability, flexibility and sound judgment by adhering to schedules and meeting all productivity, quality and performance standards as well as taking ownership for their own actions and all areas of the customer’s experience.
Required Qualifications:
- One year of prior sales experience in a commission sales environment or outside sales role is a plus, but not required. High school diploma/GED required.
- Must have solid knowledge and capability of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales).
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the role, including walking for extended periods of time in changing weather conditions.
- Must have ability to travel locally on an extensive basis and be able to provide own reliable transportation.
Compensation:
- The Outside Sales role will be compensated hourly at $10.00/hour based on a full-time, 40-hour work week. There may be occasional opportunities for overtime. In addition, there will be an opportunity to earn a commission on each completed/installed sale generated by the Sales Rep. (Full details of the commission plan will be discussed during your interview.)
- Outside Sales Reps will have the potential to earn up to $750.00/week if you meet/exceed performance quotas, and top-ranking Reps could earn as much as $75,000.00 annually!
