ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with Owners and Marketing team to develop marketing and communications plans that leverage the social media space.
  • Responsible for developing content across owned and earned social channels. This could include blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos and videos.
  • Creates, manages and grows business presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
  • Leverages measurement tools to provide progress reports and insights, while continually finding ways to improve on metrics through testing and new initiatives.
  • Assists in establishing strategic social media plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Manages development and production social media to support sales and marketing programs.
  • Analyzes company social media programs and adjusts, create, update as necessary to increase effectiveness of media.
  • Establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout company’s social media sites.
  • Coordinate community outreach program.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives.
  • Real-world experience planning social media programs that span owned (e.g. Blogs), earned (e.g. Facebook) and paid (sponsored tweets)
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing current best practices and understanding of Digital production processes
  • Knowledge of social media legal guidelines, including, but not limited to Word of Mouth Marketing Association and “pay-per-post”

EXPERIENCE/EDUCAITON:

  • 2+ years experience or equivalent exposure to a corporate environment.
  • BA or BS with focus on communication: Advertising/Marketing .
  • Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
