• High volume preparation of foods for Nicktoons Restaurant/Buffet, Room Service, and mall buffet
• Responsibilities for general cooking, re-heating and finishing of hot foods, stocks and sauces
• Responsibilities for stations including sanitizer buckets, proper cutting boards, utensils for cooking, hot steam wells, powering of large cooking equipment and general mise en place for the day
• Produce all hot foods according to established health guidelines set forth by local health department and hotel management team
• Record temperatures in the proper logs adhering to established procedures communicating any abnormal temperatures and taking appropriate action to resolve them
• Assist fellow team members, cooks and buffet attendants as necessary
• Communicate with immediate supervisor about any deficiencies in quality

Required Skills:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Hotel experience preferred
• A minimum of 2-4 years cooking experience in high volume restaurant or hotel setting required
• Full a la carte experience required, i.e.:  grill, sauté, fry, Gard Manger
• Ability to understand standardized recipe cards, volume and dry weight measurement required
• Ability to read and produce recipes based on needs required
• Ability to work in a team based environment
• Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
