Work with an assigned portfolio of students, and graduates to achieve placement results by coordinating and assisting in job searches, interview preparation, and resume revisions for recent graduates and alumni. Provide coaching and feedback to improve successful placements outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively oversees a portfolio of 50-100 students and graduates.  
  • Achieves targeted minimum placement rates set forth by the department.
  •  Create successful relationships with potential qualified graduates and coaches them through all phases of the career search: assessments, career explorations, job search action plans, resume writing, networking, applications, interviewing, salary negotiations, and career development.
  • Connects with employers to create opportunities for students and alumni.  
  • Ensures all graduate related data is entered into the company-designated electronic recording keeping system in an accurate and timely basis and maintains confidential client and referral records.
  • Gathers and enters placement and waver information of graduates in accordance with institution, accreditations, and company guidelines. 
  • Administer graduate satisfaction surveys.
  • Partner with Account Representative to ensure job leads are available.  Continue to help previous graduates still looking for placement.
  • Participate in supplementary career training
  • Uses resources effectively to achieve results.
  • Assists in the coordination of graduation ceremonies.
  • Contact/Communicate with current population weekly via telephone, e-mail, text message, and Social Media Outlets to assist in placing the student.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; one to two years related experience; and/or staffing agency and resume preparation experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to successfully utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and skillfully navigate the internet.
  • Knowledge of job application process, interview procedures and resume writing
  • Fluent in social networking and other high-tech communication paths
  • Proficient in personal time management, multi-tasking, detail oriented, organized, and setting priorities.
