Job Summary:

Verify placement while identifying and developing employer relationships by acting as the key interface to the employer to secure placement positions for students. Coordinate with department Career Reps, and Manager/Director to ensure job opportunities needs are proactively identified.

Job Description:

· Develop and place employer-ready students into jobs in their field of study

· Ensure student readiness for employment interviews that achieve satisfactory conversion in interview show and interview-to-hire rates of graduates

· Assess students at beginning of program to establish individual professional development

· Develop one-on-one relationships with students within the portfolio, ensuring employment readiness through resume writing, mock interviewing, job search techniques, etc.

· Maintain continual contact with students and graduates in order to have thorough and current knowledge of student status through calls, emails, texting, social media, etc. When graduate is unable to be contacted, use all available resources and efforts to reengage

· Continue to help graduates looking for employment and identify remediation needs (job club, refresher courses, retooling events, etc.) to improve marketability to employers

· Verify employment records of graduates through phone calls and gathering required documentation which meets all federal, state, regulatory agency, and company guidelines

· Develop clear understanding of programmatic curriculum, requirements, related job activities, quality placements and job leads

· Organize and ensure student participation at career fairs, open house events, and graduation

· Effectively manage pipeline of activities that lead to graduate employment

· Effectively manage time, priorities, and resources to ensure productive and effective results

· Responsible for achieving weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals

· Accurately track activities in company database in a timely manner

· Demonstrate complete working knowledge of compliance with federal, state, accreditation, company, and any other regulatory agency policies

· Perform all other duties as assigned

· Identify and develop relationships with employers and effectively manage 300-500 accounts.

· Develop referrals from existing relationships.

· Assist and participate in all departmental events.

· Participate in supplementary career training.

· Coordinate collection of employer feedback surveys; provide appropriate feedback with relevant staff.

· Effectively use time to balance account growth, account maintenance and department meeting requirements.

· Use resources effectively to achieve results.

· Conduct 75-90 marketing calls by phone per week to create job leads. Follow up on responses from all marketing leads.

· Respond to all phone calls and messages within 24 hours and respond to all written communications (i.e., letters) within 3 days.

· Demonstrate working knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and regulatory agency regulations and company policies by reviewing and providing verbal summaries for regulation and policy at the end of 30 days.

· Act as a liaison between the National Account team and Corporate Partnership to foster the company relationships externally.


 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent skills learned through staffing (sales & service) business development, and sales experience

· Ability to present to and influence employers

· High-level of professionalism and confidence

· Independent, self-starter

· Prefer cold calling experience

· Ability to manage communications in social networking environments.
