Executive In Charge of Production

Digital Entertainment Studio is seeking a strong leader to oversee production operations at our new facility located in Orlando. Working with the General Manager, this key role will develop and implement new processes for production efficiencies, and oversee both the operation of our studios and our content execution. The EIC is responsible for keeping all productions on time, safe, and efficient as well as interfacing with our global partners. Our ideal candidate is goal oriented, must have attention to detail, and ensure quality control on every project. As a key member of a small team, flexibility in the role will be expected and duties may increase or change as the position evolves.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Establish and maintain studio’s reputation for creating the highest-quality content.

Oversee all aspects of production, line production and executive production from branded entertainment to online originals and talent support.

Execute budgeting, scheduling, and staffing on a project-by-project basis from pre-production through post-production.

Create protocols and processes for production oversight for Studio resources including our stages, equipment, and post.

Work with Full Sail’s staff for utilizing Full Sail resources including facilities and equipment, and ensure studio’s use of each resource leaves it in better condition than we received it in.

Work closely with the General Manager in studio’s relationships with global partners, programming executives and executive management to ensure business objectives and KPIs are met.

Build and negotiate production-related contracts including co-production agreements and talent/staff agreements.

Reporting on all productions in terms of budget, production metrics, and detailed wrap reports including performance.

Maintain high degree of knowledge of events and industry trends and identify co-production and revenue-generating opportunities.

Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 8 years of prior producing or production management experience.

Production experience in digital preferred.

College degree.

Demonstrate world-class leadership.

Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships and teams.

Ability to communicate diplomatically and succinctly to a wide audience.

Ability to think critically and analytically with a high-level of attention to detail.

Aptitude for strategic planning and tactical execution on simultaneous projects.

Holistic knowledge of budgeting and scheduling as well as camera, grip, electric equipment and insight into post-production.

Strong existing relationships with local production staff and national production companies preferred.

Experience working with subcontractors.

Knowledge of local and state production incentives.

Thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a high-intensity environment, long hours and meeting tight deadlines.
