Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s) work in an office as part of a team and are responsible for phone lines, maintain customer accounts, order entry, freight rates, setting up truck loads and handle all aspects of customer service.  This is a 40 hour a week position, and would require strong multitasking skills, must be very organized, strong correspondence with quality assurance calls and emails. Excel & word skills are a plus, with knowledge of EDI (electronic data integration).

 

Essential functions of the job:

  • Expected to answer the customer’s questions, about the product on the initial call.
  • Respond by phone or email to customers, maintaining strong correspondence skills
  • Manage customer retention by handling orders, warranty questions, etc
  • Expected to gain knowledge of Discovery World products. 
  • Responsible for accurate data entry.
  • Responsible for other general administrative , resale certificates, mailings, new customer set up 
  • Assist in helping other team members
  • Working directly with logistics to schedule delivery appointments
  • Time management skills
