Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; and notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.

Receptionist Job Duties:

  • Answer phones and operate a switchboard.
  • Route calls to specific people.
  • Answer inquiries about company.
  • Make coffee and set out food.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy.
  • Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.
  • Handle phone calls from people calling in sick or out
  • Gather personal and insurance information.
  • Hand out employee applications.
  • Send and review email and faxes.
  • Collect and distribute mail.
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 10 
  • Must be able to stand and sit for a long period of time
  • Must speak English and Spanish
  • Must have a clean
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8am- 5pm
  • Must be able to pass a background (7 years check) and drug screen
