Summary We are looking for a Manager to join our Management Team and become part of our exciting fast paced tavern at World of Beer in Downtown Orlando, Florida. Come on by, we'd love to meet you!
Full description The Manager will assist the General Manager and Management Team to ensure that all aspects of the tavern operate to maximize guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, sales and profit.
Essential Job Functions
- To assist and to orchestrate the activities of the tavern staff & kitchen manager and hourly associates to ensure that guests receive a high level of service, sales are maximized, associates are satisfied, and profit meets owner expectations
- Oversee staff in the tavern such as the kitchen, bar, product manager and servers.
- Ensure that servers and associates maintain tavern cleanliness and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with World of Beer brand standards. Create the culture in the tavern to ensure that the tavern complies with all standards set forth.
- Coach, counsel, discipline, train, and mentor all staff to deliver excellent performance and to reach their personal development goals.
- Ensure all areas of the tavern are inspected daily for compliance to standards and policies. Maximize revenue through sales efforts, yield management, and cost control.
Desired Skills and Experience Requirements
- 2 years in management at high volume full service restaurant / Bar Grill
- Solid depth of BOH and kitchen operations
- Experience in product procurement
- Serv-Safe Manager Certified
- Skilled in leading, motivating, developing people
- Experience in event coordination and execution
- Excellent organizational skills & follow-through
- Great selling skills and ability to teach others
- Excellent in Inventory control
- Comprehensive operations experience including team leading human resources
- Ability to provide a guest-focused approach to floor management & create guest rapport
- Ability to build morale with management and staff members by selecting, developing, mentoring, managing and leading
- Time / Scheduling of labor efficiencies Strong interpersonal skills
- Outstanding conflict resolution skills
- An "every shift and every day counts" mentality
- Innovative thinking – Ability to think outside the box and help create new operational efficiencies, menu ideas.
- Reliable transportation with current drivers license with no limitations and NO DUI’s.
- Ability to work 40-50 (estimated) hours per week.Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Knowledge of ALOHA, Microsoft Office, Schedulefly, Excel & Word is helpful
