ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strictly adheres to and actively promotes all Health Services policies and procedures and Standing Orders while performing duties. Examines and treats all Wet ’n Wild guests and team members’ injuries and illness according to company protocols and using sound paramedic judgment.
- Provides timely documentation for each team member and guest completely, legibly and accurately; documenting the appropriate assessment and treatments; documenting on the appropriate paperwork and electronic files. Provides copies and files documents as required.
- Completes shift responsibilities to include, opening and closing checklists, restocking supplies at bases, airway bags and shared department packs and equipment. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
- Authorizes treatment for team members to receive outside medical care. Notifies supervisors off all team members and guests sent off property for further treatment.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Wet ’n Wild policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have-hospital care provider- ER or urgent care experience. Park attraction experience helpful.
Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION: Other: FL Paramedic Certification, Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support.
EXPERIENCE: 0-1 Year: 1 year experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS: FL Paramedic Certification. Mandatory certification as BLS provider. and Advance cardiac life support provider..
ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Five days on the job training required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
