Under the direction of the director/supervisor/charge nurse, the exercise specialist assists in the daily operation of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department through the instruction and supervision of clients during exercise sessions.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Exercise Physiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One (1) year practical experience cardiac rehabilitation/wellness center
- One (1) year experience in developing exercise prescriptions for high-risk populations in a hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation or wellness center program
