Quality Control Inspector - precision machined components

Will be inspecting detailed and precision machined components, both milled and turned parts, by reading complex technical drawings, and utilizing precision visual measuring equipment including micrometers, surface plate, optical comparator etc.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years in a QC environment similar to a fast-paced, high-precision job shop, with machining of a variety of materials, small to medium run quantities.

•Must have minimum 5 years previous experience with inspection of detailed and precision machined components, both milled and turned parts.

• Fully capable of complex part inspection, including determining appropriate measuring methods and tools

• Must be proficient in reading complex technical drawings, and utilizing precision visual measuring equipment including micrometers, surface plate, optical comparator etc.

• Fluent in GD&T and experienced in blueprint reading

• Capable of working with solid models

• Minimum 3 years CMM experience with at least some programming capability

This is a fast paced and high pressure environment. Must be a self-starter; willing to work overtime, able to work with minimal supervision. Must be a team player and flexible with work assignments.

2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 4:15-2:45

1st shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00-4:30

Term: Fulltime-Hire
