Responsible primarily for cleaning services during daytime operation of the Lake Mary Operations Center to ensure facility is in accordance with Class A standards of cleaning.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Dust all horizontal surfaces by removing items and replacing afterwards.
  • Dust all ceiling fans with appropriate high reach dusting tool.
  • Clean all doors and all glass or glass tops with appropriate cleaners to remove hand smudges, oil and dirt, paying special attention to high traffic areas (i.e., entrances, exit stairwell, corridors and all restroom doors).
  • Clean all cafeteria tables and kitchen counter tops, as well as all cafeteria appliances (i.e., ice maker, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.) as needed throughout the day.
  • Clean all wood tables and doors with appropriate cleaner.
  • Clean all porcelain, chrome handles, and Stainless Steel.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean stairs as needed.
  • Empty all waste receptacles and replace liners in cafeteria daily.
  • Clean toilets, sinks, and showers with appropriate disinfectant cleaners.
  • Clean all windows and exterior glass doors of marks and smudges.
  • Monitor restrooms, gym, showers and all common areas during the day to ensure cleanliness and adequate supply of soap and paper products.
  • Visit daily President & CEO’s office and tenants' offices to remove trash and spot clean as needed.
  • Account for paper and soap products inventory for all branches. Coordinate receiving, storing, and dispensing of these products to the branches as needed by way of our outside vendor.
  • Provide assistance in maintaining and set up as needed of Community Room
  • Wash and dry towels, tablecloths, and other laundry used, using in-house equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure overall exterior of the property is free and clear of obstructions, offensive debris and trash.
  • Raise and lower exterior eating and smoking area umbrellas daily and ensure trash bins are emptied.
  • Assist Facilities Engineers and Contractors with any building related mechanical or maintenance issues when needed, or called upon for assistance.
  • Provide an immediate response to handle accidental spills, or other related emergency incidents within the facility
  • Replace any burnt light bulbs, or fluorescent tubes as required.
  • Monitor and clean all areas in the facility, which are “Common Areas” without restriction and even if the item will be cleaned by the evening cleaning crew.
  • Clean reception/lobby area including wood, floors, award display shelves, etc. daily and/or as needed.
  • Must be available to handle emergency calls at night, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Director of Facilities.
  • Assist and be a team member of the Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Must be flexible and a strong team player.
  • Respond to service requests of the facility and assist other facilities personnel in the function of their duties.
  • Perform additional duties as may be assigned by Director of Facilities.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Class A facility in all aspects of cleaning and supplies inventory, A clear understanding of proper commercial building usages of cleaning and maintaining products including MSDS documentation.
