POSITION SUMMARY: To improve USEA’s AutoPayPlus market position with new and existing dealerships. The market development specialist is responsible for helping to develop current accounts and increase production in those accounts, acquiring new accounts through uncovering leads and opportunities and daily servicing of existing clients. The position further involves the responsibility to retain, manage and grow the existing business with training, development and support. The market development specialist works closely with USEA’s business development managers to develop and execute plans and training that will optimize the number of dealerships that use the AutoPayPlus service and the volume produced per dealership. Some of the responsibilities include:

New Business Development

  • Ability to train on Industry Software Applications utilizing webinars and administer certification testing for producers
  • Drive business and ensure sustained growth by proactively creating new sales leads/ opportunities
  • Probe for and note competitor activity
  • Prospect for potential new agency and dealership clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Identify training opportunities through analyzing corporate reports
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

Client Retention

  • Prioritize and make calls to prospects and existing automotive dealership personnel
  • Handle incoming calls and emails
  • Maintain contact database with accurate profiles, notes and opportunity information
  • Relationship building  through consistent contact with active dealership personnel utilizing  measuring tools
  • Completing daily tasks and promoting growth while completing tasks

Qualifications
 

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Retail automotive experience is required
  • Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning
  • Sales ability / persuasiveness
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, able to establish rapport quickly
  • Computer proficiency  (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented
  • Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
