Provider Recruitment Specialist


JOB TITLEPROVIDER RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

 Performs provider recruitment and compliance for all Childcare partners in the assigned county.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Coordinates all Childcare provider contracts.  Ensures providers’ files contain documentation that verifies compliance with 4C, Early Head Start, State and local requirements. Develop and implement a provider recruitment strategy to attract and verify eligible childcare providers in each assigned county. Ensures the provider recruitment and enrollment services are maintained in accordance with the contract, state and federal guidelines. Conducts EHS-CC Partnership verification, interviews, and enrollments within prescribed time frames. Provides one-on-one technical assistance to providers as needed to facilitate their identified needs. Coordinates EHS-CC Partnership Round-up activities working with the Program Manager. Participates in the annual Community Needs assessment to determine gaps in childcare services working in conjunction with the Program Director, Program Manager and Program Information Specialist. Annually, develops and maintains an EHS-CC Partnership Provider Profile which includes approved providers contracted by the Early Learning Coalition of the assigned county. Conducts annual EHS-CC Partnership Provider Update process within established timeframes. Assists the Program Director in implementing and maintaining quality assurance activities for the EHS-CC Partnership programs to ensure contract compliance and quality service provision.Provides one-on-one technical assistance to providers as needed to facilitate their identified needs to become a potential partner. Participates in the Agency’s Quality Improvement Program as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Ability to operate a personal computer.  Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, database and presentation software, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.  Ability to navigate the Internet. Ability to gather, compile, analyze data and develop recommendations based on findings of the data. Ability to demonstrate effective customer services. Ability to work and collaborate with community partners and organizations.  Ability to gain knowledge of agency, program terminology, and program eligibility. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, families and other early childhood professionals. Ability to demonstrate skills in problem solving and organization. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work and communicate with people from various multi-cultural backgrounds and socio-economic levels. Sensitivity to the needs, abilities, beliefs, and attitudes of individuals within and outside the Agency, including but not limited to customers and co-workers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences such as Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Four (4) years experience with contract language terms/conditions development, DCF childcare-related regulations/standards required. Four (4) years experience public speaking preferred.

SALARY: $36,630-$41,413 per year w/ Excellent Benefits                                  PAY GRADE:  10
