POSITION: Human Resources Generalist
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
SALARY: $38,459.20 to $52,540.80 starting annual salary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, and three (3) years of Human Resources experience in recruiting at a professional level required.
- Experience in additional HR disciplines such as HRIS, compensation, training (such as instructional and content design) or benefits are preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor degree and 3 years related experience.
- Must have good computer skills; able to work effectively in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Multi-lingual skills preferred. Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, and possess organizational skills to effectively prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Requires a high degree of attention to detail. General knowledge of instructional and content design and an understanding of e-learning techniques desired.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy at all times while interacting with the public and Aviation Authority management and employees.
- Experience with Oracle HR and Cloud technology a plus. Must have a valid Florida driver license.
- Provide professional level coordination, analysis and support of staffing and recruitment services.
- Conduct new employee orientation. Participate on assigned interview panels, record and evaluate applicant education, experience, training, skills, etc. and work with the panel to make recommendations.
- Schedule interviews; process offer letters; make job offers and coordinate background investigations.
- Assist with coordinating, designing, and delivering training programs based on individual and organizational needs.
- Assist other areas of Human Resources as assigned.
