Job Title: Support Services/Inventory Dispatch Coordinator
Department: Support Services
Reports To: Inventory Dispatch Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position fulfills the obligations of receiving, inventory, stocking/re-stocking, dispatching and work orders, as related to Engineering and Housekeeping.
-Receive all incoming shipments/packages that are delivered to Engineering; document and inventory as needed.
-Pick and distribute all inventoried items, as requested, to staff, and insure that proper procedures are followed.
-Maintain and dispatch all keys, vehicles, radios and assets to staff.
-Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory by stocking and picking accurately.
-Perform inventory counts on a cyclical basis and/or upon request.
-Stock and re-stock various locations within all secured areas of Engineering.
-Cross train in Support Services.
-Ability to research parts and tools online.
-Perform other assigned duties as needed or added.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFIC SKILLS:
-Ability to operate a golf/delivery cart
-Ability to become forklift certified
-Ability to count inventory
-Ability to navigate and learn inventory and dispatch system
-Valid driver's license, driving experience and clean driving record
-Flexibility to meet the needs of various areas throughout the Village
-Effectively communicate, understand, speak, read and write English to communicate with Guests, Departments, Volunteers, Staff and Vendors
-Flexible work schedule with availability to work weekends, holidays, extended shifts and occasional nights
PHYSICAL DEMANDS BEYOND NORMAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT:
-Ability to consistently move/lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally move/lift up to 75 lbs.
-Ability to stand, bend, sit, and walk for long periods of time
-Ability to climb ladders
-Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-A minimum of 2 years inventory experience
-A minimum of 1 year receiving and shipping experience
-A minimum of 1 year engineering/maintenance experience
-A minimum of 1 year computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred)
-A minimum of 1 year forklift/pallet jack experience
