The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for such areas as recruitment, orientation, employee relations and communication.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs recruitment activities, interviews and evaluates candidates for positions throughout the Florida location.
  • Conducts new employee orientations regarding the Company’s policies and procedures. Ensures all new hire paperwork is completed during the orientation process.
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and governmental regulations.
  • Maintains and updates job descriptions and personnel files for the Florida location.
  • Coordinates and plans company events for Florida location.
  • Performs general office duties to include: answering phones, distributing correspondence, assisting with visitors and ordering supplies.
  • Assists department leads in coordinating meetings by generating agendas and recording the meeting minutes.
  • Assists the Corporate Payroll Administrators with all payroll functions for the Florida location.
  • Coordinates and plans company events for Florida location.

 

 

Qualifications   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Five (5) years of prior Human Resources experience required.
  • PHR certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of departmental or cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office package.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
